MakeMyAtlas

Airport and transit wayfinding

MakeMyAtlas helps travellers find gates, check-in, security, lounges, baggage reclaim, platforms and exits with turn-by-turn directions in their browser — from a QR sign, a link in the boarding pass email or a kiosk.

Made for people in a hurry

  • Walking time to every gate or platform
  • Step-free routes for luggage, prams and reduced mobility
  • Multiple terminals, piers and levels in one map
  • Multilingual visitor map
  • Handles very large crowds — routing runs on each traveller’s phone

Works with your signage

QR codes on existing signs re-anchor travellers at every junction. Deep links point straight to a gate, a lounge or a transfer route.

Answers

Common questions

How many visitors can use an indoor map at once?

There is no practical limit. The map is served from Cloudflare’s global edge cache and all routing runs on each visitor’s phone, so 10,000 people using the same map at the same time is normal.

Can indoor maps avoid stairs for wheelchair users?

Yes. Turning on accessible routing in MakeMyAtlas avoids stairs and escalators and uses lifts and ramps instead. The route, distance and walking time update immediately.

Do I need an app for indoor navigation?

No. MakeMyAtlas maps run in any modern mobile or desktop browser. Visitors open a link or scan a QR code; nothing is installed. The same map can be embedded in your website or existing app.
